The Philadelphia-Metro YWIB Committee had a fantastic time at the John Moffet Elementary School Science Fair. YWIB volunteers served as judges, chatting with Kindergarten through 5th grade students about their projects, hypotheses, and conclusions. The students' creativity and effort in their projects impressed the judges. The Science Fair gave students a fun way to learn about the scientific method—asking questions, testing ideas, analyzing results, and sharing what they discovered—while meeting STEM professionals. The whole school joined the fun, and family members were invited too! It was great to see so much participation from every grade. All students received a ribbon for their hard work, and three standout projects even earned special awards and prizes. The excitement and pride the students showed in sharing their projects with judges and classmates made the event especially memorable.
