WIB-Seattle: Town Hall Membership Event

On March 27, WIB-Seattle held its first member Town Hall of the year at the TF Labs space in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The event was a great opportunity for over 40 attendees to learn about the recent achievements and upcoming plans of WIB-Seattle and to share their feedback and ideas on how to enhance the value and impact of the organization. In 2024, WIB-Seattle hosted 15 in-person events and is on track to meet or exceed that in 2025, with 10 in-person events already scheduled this year. The various WIB-Seattle chairs presented the highlights of the MAPS and executive mentoring and the work of the committees on communications, membership, sponsorship, programs, and YWIB (Young  Women In Bio). The Town Hall also featured a lively and constructive discussion among seasoned members, new members, and prospective members on how WIB-Seattle can best serve the local community, improve communication and engagement, and increase member retention. Attendees enjoyed networking with other professionals over refreshing drinks and bites both before and after the discussion. WIB-Seattle thanks all the participants for their enthusiasm and input.
