WIB-Seattle

Mariana Huben  |  Outstanding Chapter Volunteer

Mariana developed and implemented a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the WIB vision. She built and maintained relationships with our sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure our message was consistent across all communication channels. Mariana expanded the LinkedIn community for the Seattle chapter (almost 2,000 LinkedIn followers). She also creatively contributed by interviewing our volunteers and highlighting their experiences. Mariana redesigned the WIB-Seattle's Instagram account with new campaigns highlighting chapter sponsors and member testimonials. Finally, Mariana built and trained an excellent communication team for the WIB-Seattle to ensure our future success.

Margaret Kenrick  |  Outstanding Long-Term Impact Volunteer

Margaret, as the Programs Committee Chair, has been a stellar and passionate leader. Her creative vision and strategic planning have significantly influenced  WIB events, making them resonate with the Seattle biotech community. Margaret’s creativity, professionalism, and tireless work behind the scenes have left an indelible mark on our WIB events. I have been consistently amazed by Margaret’s willingness to go above and beyond and her unwavering commitment to excellence. Margaret’s example, along with Mariana’s LinkedIn posts, has inspired many to join and contribute to the WIB community.
