WIB-Capital Region & Gigantest Baltimore Mixer

The Women In Bio Capital Region and Gigantest, Inc. mixer in Baltimore on December 10 was a fantastic way to close out the year. A big thank-you goes to Anne Le for welcoming everyone into her space, supporting the event logistics, and sharing her inspiring journey of building the HealthieOne Complete kit—an innovative at-home blood test that delivers results for more than 250 health markers. The event was filled with holiday cheer and would not have been possible without the amazing teamwork of Teri Ngo and Maya Yovcheva, along with WIB-Capital Region leaders Preeyaporn, Jourdan, and Savanah, and our Baltimore event associates Madel Durens and Pragya Singh. In just over an hour, the team transformed an empty space into one of the most lively spots in town. Special thanks as well to Toni Toomey for being there to support—proof once again that teamwork really does make the dream work. It was wonderful reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting so many new ones. A special shout-out to the students who joined us even with finals just around the corner. Around 110 attendees registered, representing more than 30 biotech companies and five universities. We’re excited to keep this energy going into 2026!
