On June 19, WIB-Capital Region held its first-ever Annapolis Coffee Chat at the charming 49 West Coffeehouse, Winebar & Gallery in downtown Annapolis. Fourteen local women from academia, industry, and government came together for a relaxed morning of networking, conversation, and connection over coffee. The turnout was a wonderful start for growing the WIB presence in the Annapolis community, and the energy in the room reflected just how much demand there is for this kind of welcoming, women-focused space in the life sciences.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us — your enthusiasm made the morning truly special. We look forward to continuing to build this local network and hope to see even more familiar and new faces at future gatherings.
