WIB-Capital Region: Coffee Chat – Baltimore, October 20, 2023

On a crisp morning in Baltimore, 17 professionals from various sectors gathered at Canton Iron Rooster for a delightful coffee chat organized by the Women In Bio (WIB) Baltimore community. The event was a resounding success, fostering connections and conversations among individuals from academia, biotech, pharma, graduate students, startups, and government. Canton Iron Rooster played an essential role in setting the stage for the event by generously offering complimentary coffee to all attendees, adding a warm touch to the morning. As caffeine flowed, so did ideas and experiences, making for an engaging and productive morning.

The diversity of backgrounds and professions represented at the event was truly remarkable. It was heartening to see professionals from academia, with their wealth of knowledge and research expertise, mingling with biotech and pharma industry leaders, who are on the cutting edge of life sciences innovation.
