EWIB-San Diego: Mastermind Program & Executive Roundtable Reunion

October 29, 2024

Executive Women In Bio San Diego recently hosted an incredible evening with executive masterminds who came together to share insights and collaborate on navigating real-world case studies. The event focused on pivotal business and personal journeys, with each member contributing unique perspectives and innovative solutions to the challenges discussed. Here are some of the key case studies and takeaways:

Strategies for Early AI Adoption

  • Evaluate pricing models in relation to competitors.
  • Offer proof-of-concept (POC) free trials to enable hands-on experience, with an ask for customer testimonials that can bolster social media campaigns.

Motivating Teams Amid Streamlined Processes and Layoffs

  • Highlight "what's in it for me" with each team, linking end results to individual professional goals to boost motivation and engagement.

Navigating Onsite vs. Remote Business Models

  • Provide flexible options but underscore the advantages of onsite work, such as promotion opportunities, visibility with C-level leadership, and experience managing large teams. Consider offering gas incentives to support onsite attendance and emphasize the long-term corporate growth that often accompanies in-person work.

Creating Room for New Opportunities at Your Current Employer

  • Focus on increasing visibility. Communicate career development goals with your boss, network with those in your desired role, and proactively manage your career path with a clear timeline for progression.

A huge thank you to our host and sponsors at Deloitte for their invaluable support and commitment to our mission at Women In Bio.
