WIB-Metro New York: Posh Picnic in the Park – An Evening of Connecting & Enjoyment, July 19, 2023

The July event for WIB-Metro New York was blessed by Mother Nature with good weather! On July 19, 2023, we hosted a fabulous picnic in Central Park to breathe in the fresh air, mingle with familiar friends, and meet guests and new members.

Over half of our guests were new to the WIB Community! Once everyone had arrived, we sat down at the table set up for us with dishes and flatware and shared a meal of sandwiches, fruit, and cookies. Our evening was an extraordinary networking experience in the heart of NYC nature, Central Park. All of this was in an elegant setup with pillows, flatware, flowers, and picnic-themed food. During the course of the evening, members and guests were able to connect with like-minded professionals in the life sciences industry and take in the serene beauty of the park. Activities included round-the-table intros with fun facts, collaborative outdoor games, and various conversations to foster collaborations within the vibrant community of Women In Bio.
