WIB-Los Angeles was proudly represented at a special event during LA Tech Week 2024 by Chapter Co-Chair Lauren Bradley and member Shahira Badran. Lauren opened the event by introducing WIB's mission and sharing ways to get involved with our organization. Shahira later joined a panel to discuss how advancements in AI and STEM, particularly in biosciences, are helping to build a more inclusive tech industry. The speakers highlighted real-world applications of AI in biosciences that promote inclusivity, showcasing how science and technology play a vital role in shaping a more equitable future. Thank you to our partners at the Farrukh Foundation for co-hosting this event!
