WIB-Greater Montreal: Meet and Mingle – Summer Networking Soirée

On August 27, 2025, Women In Bio Greater Montreal hosted its Meet and Mingle Summer Networking Soirée in the heart of downtown Montreal at Notre-Boeuf-de-Grace. More than 30 attendees from across the life sciences sector came together to celebrate the season, reconnect with professionals, and build new connections in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The evening took place on the restaurant’s beautiful courtyard patio, where guests enjoyed refreshing drinks and delicious food that perfectly complemented the late-summer atmosphere. Conversations flowed naturally as participants shared insights about their work and life, exchanged ideas, and explored new opportunities for career transitions and professional development.

Over the years, the Summer Soirée has become one of WIB–Greater Montreal’s most popular and signature events. Many members recalled that their very first WIB event was a Summer Soirée, and expressed how happy they were to reunite and reconnect this year. At the same time, many new faces joined us for the first time, adding fresh energy to the gathering. A highlight of the evening was the warmth and vibrancy in the air: casual conversations filled with curiosity and enthusiasm reminded everyone of the value of coming together in person. To close the event, Anita Mac Eachern, Chair of the Greater Montreal Chapter, expressed her gratitude to all who attended and shared details of upcoming events planned for September.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at Notre-Boeuf-de-Grace for their wonderful hospitality—the inviting patio, the delicious food, and the natural downtown summer-night vibe made it the perfect venue for the soirée.
