On December 07, 2023, Executive Women In Bio Connecticut hosted a roundtable on corporate board leadership to learn how to get the best out of a board to maximize its impact on the company’s success. Rebecca Thornton, Head of Director Advisory Services at J.P. Morgan, shared best practices on building boardrooms across the globe through governance, composition, and talent. Attendees included corporate executives and board members who jumped in with lively discussions on getting the best out of a board. We were also joined by special guest Marie Rocha, the founder of Realist Ventures, a venture fund based in Connecticut that funds early-stage biotech and software startups. She shared her wealth of experience on non-profit and corporate boards.
