WIB-Connecticut: Annual Holiday Social Afternoon Tea, December 11, 2023

WIB-Connecticut met at Pistachio Cafe 2 in New Haven in December to enjoy a restful yet energizing afternoon tea with the opportunity for real conversation. During this annual event, attendees were invited to engage in a pleasant break from routine. Anna Annette, founder of Edelweiss Academy of Mastery, led the group through an active meditation to restore inner peace, balance, joy, and fulfillment. As attendees reflected on and shared the good and the bad of 2023, they indulged in the beloved ritual of afternoon tea/coffee and pastries.

Everyone truly welcomed and embraced the meditation and this lovely setting prompted honest conversations beyond the "where do you work, and what do you do?" Some key takeaways were that within our WIB community, we have found connection, support, inspiration, acceptance, community, appreciation, and empowerment. For 2024, we will manifest strength, confidence, contentment, freedom, integration, authentic self, unapologetic leadership, empowerment, joy, and growth. Someone shared gratitude for Dr. Morag Grassie for encouraging her to stand up for herself. Community and connection are beautiful and powerful tools to discover/step into our authentic selves and grow into our limitless potential.
