WIB-Connecticut: Happy Hour at East Rock Brewery, August 22, 2023

On August 22, WIB-Connecticut members met at the East Rock Brewery in New Haven for a casual meet-up. The plan was not to have a plan. Instead, the 25 attendees used the opportunity to get to know new members and catch up on family, summer events, career changes, and future WIB projects. It was surprisingly productive for the relaxed setup, and the venue was perfect for the occasion. East Rock Brewery is a busy place, and since we were networking in a semi-open space, people stopped by and asked about WIB and how to join. It is good to enjoy an informal get-together now and then without an agenda, and we hope to have similar events once a year.
