WIB-San Francisco Bay Area: Catalyst Conversations – A Speed Networking Event

June 17, 2026

On June 17th, WIB-San Francisco Bay Area brought together members for a fun and engaging evening at The Hangar in South San Francisco. We began the evening with informal networking before moving into a more structured speed-networking format, in which attendees rotated through small groups to share their career experiences, challenges, and insights. With conversation starters like “How different is your current role from what you were trained for?” and “What’s something you’re still figuring out professionally?”, participants had the chance to learn from one another, exchange opinions, and connect with both peers and experienced leaders. The chapter's Executive Women In Bio (EWIB) leaders helped guide the conversations.

This event was a great success, with attendees expanding their professional networks while gaining fresh insights and inspiration. A special thank you to our event sponsors, Healthpeak Properties, Inc., and Natalia East De Michele, for their hospitality and generosity in helping make the evening possible. And thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the energy and meaningful conversations that made the event so memorable.
