WIB-San Francisco Bay Area held a Founders Showcase on April 30 at Kilroy Oyster Point in South San Francisco. It was an inspiring evening celebrating the next generation of women-led innovation in healthcare and life sciences. We were thrilled to spotlight founders developing cutting-edge solutions across medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, fertility, and women’s health.
One particularly striking aspect of the evening was seeing how many of the women-led technologies naturally focused on women’s health and pediatric care. It was incredibly exciting to see so many innovators tackling historically underserved areas with fresh ideas, especially around birthing health and fertility. The future of healthcare innovation is bright.
Huge congratulations to our incredible finalist presenters — Dori Jones of AcQumen Medical, Roni Cantor-Balan of Ciconia Medical, Iris Lam of Rejoovenate Bio, and Kat Schmolly, MD, of Zebra MD — for sharing their innovative work and inspiring visions for the future of healthcare. We also extend a special congratulations to Eugenia Herrero Barros of Purensis Dx, recipient of the California Life Sciences (CLS) FAST-WIB Award.
