On March 13, healthcare leaders, innovators, and investors gathered at JLL in Irvine to discuss women's health. The event started with an inspiring keynote from Annette M. Walker, MHA, President of City of Hope Orange County, setting the stage for an engaging discussion. A panel followed, featuring Kristen Ellefson (Co-Founder & CEO of nurtur), Dr. Varun Kapoor (CEO & Co-Founder of Nura Health), Vanessa Villaverde (Senior Program Investment Officer at the California Health Care Foundation), and Dave Whelan (Chief Business Officer for Big4Bio), with expert moderation by life science investor Debbie W. Lin. Throughout the event, attendees heard about exciting advancements in medical care, diagnostics, therapeutics, and investment opportunities shaping the future of women’s health. With 50 attendees and support from US Bank and JLL, the event created a great space for meaningful conversations and new collaborations, all focused on driving innovation in women’s health.
