WIB-San Diego: Biotech Night at the San Diego Mojo

WIB-San Diego joined the biotech community for an exciting evening at the SD Mojo vs. Vegas Thrill professional volleyball game. More than just watching the game, the event celebrated women’s leadership, teamwork, and community, bringing together professionals from the life sciences industry to connect, inspire, and support women in sports. As we cheered on San Diego Mojo, we reflected on the parallels between professional sports and business leadership: teamwork, strategy, resilience, and perseverance. A special highlight of the night was seeing mothers bring their daughters, showing young girls firsthand the power of women excelling at the highest levels of competition. Representation matters, and events like these reinforce the importance of women leading in all arenas, from the boardroom to the court. Here’s to more opportunities to support women in leadership, sports, and STEM and to cheer SD Mojo on at their next game!
