WIB-Metro New York’s members-only summer picnic in Central Park was a great mid-season success, attracting a core group of members and even some out-of-town guests from other chapters to an elegant grassy gathering, where everyone relaxed, shared experiences, discussed chapter strategies and news, and enjoyed delicious refreshments. A shoutout to caterer PikNYC Luxury Events for creating such a thoughtful and charming ambience by providing picnic-level folding tables, flowers on trellises, and hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and sandwiches. Thanks to the planning team, led by Madeleine Tavcar, with help from Ginger Ellis, Hélène Boigard, Nancie Steinberg, and Chapter Chair Joanna Kaniewska for organizing, and to Nancie Steinberg for helping with photos. This event's vibes and good cheer will carry us a long way into the fall when we plan a series of high-impact events.
