WIB-Metro New York: Summer Rooftop Networking Happy Hour

On a perfect summer evening in New York City, about 25–30 members and guests of WIB-Metro New York gathered for our annual Summer Rooftop Social & Networking Reception at the beautiful Rosehill Rooftop at the Roof at Park South. The event offered a relaxed setting for life sciences professionals from across the New York–New Jersey area to step away from their busy schedules and reconnect—or connect for the first time—with others in the community. WIB-Metro New York Chair Joanna Kaniewska kicked things off with a warm welcome and a quick thank-you to the organizers before everyone settled in to enjoy the skyline views, refreshing drinks, and good conversation. There was great energy, lots of laughs, and many new connections. It was great just to catch up and share stories. The evening reminded us of the value of taking time to build relationships outside of work. And the good news is—there’s more to come! WIB-Metro NY is planning a summer picnic in mid-to-late July for another round of casual networking, so stay tuned!
