WIB-Metro New York: Fall Speed Networking and Membership Drive, September 20, 2023

On Sep 20, 2023, WIB-Metro New York hosted a membership drive and speed networking at Yeshiva University. The event began with mingling, followed by an exciting introduction to speed networking, where participants engaged in brief conversations with various partners, rotating every five minutes. Subsequently, members of the Steering Committee took the stage to share insights into their WIB roles and how their contributions have enriched the community and advanced their professional growth.

The event's goal was to attract fresh faces to the chapter, identify potential leaders for the Steering Committee, and enhance involvement within the vibrant bio/life science community in New York. Notably, each Steering Committee member skillfully showcased their work, leaving a strong impression on attendees.
