On June 4, 2026, WIB-Great Montreal welcomed nearly 50 mentees and 11 mentors to McGill University for our speed mentoring event. What began as an evening of rapid-fire mentoring conversations quickly became an incredibly engaging and inspiring experience that exceeded all our expectations. Mentors generously shared insights into their career journeys, lessons learned along the way, essential soft skills, and their perspectives on the industry's future. Mentees brought enthusiasm, curiosity, and thoughtful questions, making every conversation meaningful—and making the evening fly by. The event concluded with an open networking session, giving participants the opportunity to continue building connections. We hope the relationships and conversations sparked during the event continue to inspire and support everyone as they navigate their career paths. Thank you to all of the mentors, mentees, and volunteers who helped make this event such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again at a future WIB-Great Montreal event!
