WIB-San Francisco Bay Area: Cultivating Connections – The Role of Mentorship in Startups, June 26

On June 26, 2024, Baker Labs in Berkeley was the location for WIB-San Francisco Bay Area's sold-out panel discussion to share experiences and expertise on mentorship in startups. The speakers shared their first-hand experience of how mentorship helped propel their careers and define their paths to success. Many attendees were interested in finding the right mentor, and the panel noted that WIB's MAPS program is a great way to connect with a mentor or become one.

The experienced panelists offered candid conversations and personal anecdotes to illuminate the challenges and opportunities encountered on their entrepreneurial journeys, emphasizing the pivotal role of mentorship in navigating the complexities of the industry. Each panelist embodied the spirit of female entrepreneurship, inspiring others to pursue their passions and break barriers in the male-dominated field of biotech. Their insights and lessons learned help foster a supportive community of aspiring women leaders, empowering them to chart their own paths to success in this dynamic and ever-evolving realm of science and innovation.
