WIB-Greater Boston: Annual 9-Hole Golf Tournament & Clinic

On May 6, the Women In Bio Greater Boston Annual 9-Hole Golf Tournament & Clinic took place at Ferncroft Country Club. The weather did not disappoint on this spring day and provided a great backdrop for the golfers. The tournament was a scramble format, which encouraged participants from all skill levels in a nonjudgmental setting. Also offered was a clinic, which allowed new and experienced golfers to fine-tune their skills.

The competition was fierce and friendly, but there could only be one winner! The winning foursome was Julie Nasser, Kerrie Julian, Nicole Olivieri, and Liz Cornish. Julie also won closest to the pin, and Annie Coe had the longest drive of the day.

This event also offered a clinic for those looking to fine-tune their skills with golf pros. The groups cycled through swings based on differing conditions and distances – many tips were shared! The day culminated at the 19th hole with networking. It was great to see so many women supporting each other while spending a sunny afternoon outside!
