YWIB-Connecticut & Junior Achievement SWNE: Careers in STEM Symposium

November 20, 2024

We're excited to share highlights from our recent STEM Symposium, co-hosted with Junior Achievement of Southwest New England and YWIB-Connecticut! On November 20, 2024, nearly 200 high school students explored STEM through hands-on activities, gained insights into industry careers, and connected with local science leaders. The keynote panel featured Latisha Douglas (Prudential), Anjali Ramaswamy (Yale Ventures), Belinda Huerta Buitrago (Southern Connecticut State University), and moderator Alexia Kedves (curie.bio, WIB-Connecticut YWIB Committee Chair). A huge thank you to our volunteers and partners for inspiring the next generation in life sciences! We look forward to our third annual STEM Symposium in November. For more details on the event, see this article from wtnh.com.
