The WIB-Chicago Leadership Team gathered on Saturday, January 17, for a productive (and delicious) day together. Leaders and volunteers gathered to focus on team connection, welcome new volunteers, and set each committee up for a successful year. The morning kicked off with networking over brunch, followed by introductions from the Steering Committee. Volunteers and leaders took a big-picture look at the year ahead, developing a tentative events calendar, hearing that the CBRE grant has been extended through June 2026. Committees then broke out for an hour to map out their goals for the year before everyone reconvened to share plans and priorities.
The tentative calendar already features 17 events, so it’s shaping up to be a busy year. Thank you to Portal Innovations for hosting and sponsoring WIB-Chicago.
