WIB-Chicago: Career Catalyst Event – Empower Your Next Move

Our recent Career Catalyst event on May 28 brought together 105 attendees from across Chicagoland for an afternoon designed to help them take the next step in their careers. The event started with a warm welcome, casual networking, and the always-popular professional headshot session, courtesy of the incredibly talented Tracy. Attendees were thrilled to update their LinkedIn profiles with fresh, polished images. The heart of the afternoon was a career development workshop led by Momentum Staffing, where participants learned how to build standout resumes and sharpen their job search strategies. The session was packed with practical tips on navigating career moves.

Throughout the event, there were multiple opportunities to connect one-on-one with recruiters and leaders from some of the most exciting organizations in the life sciences, including AbbVie, CSL, InteliSpark, Qral Group, SimBioSys, HappiLabs, Momentum Staffing, and Portal Innovations. Academic partners like the University of Illinois Chicago Office of Technology Management and Northwestern University’s InQbation Lab also offered valuable insights and resources for job seekers and aspiring innovators.

As the afternoon wrapped up, attendees lingered for more networking, a few last-minute photos, and conversations with potential employers. We’re so grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to this meaningful experience.
