"When our Women In Bio President asked for volunteers on a major project, Alak jumped at the chance to put her skills to use to help strengthen our organization's bond with BIO. Alak spent months creating comprehensive profiles for each state BIO organization so each chapter can understand what their local BIO organization has to offer. Her work will be presented to chapters in February training so they can take advantage of her research and forge even stronger bonds with BIO."

"Emilie has worked tirelessly in her Membership Chair role over the past two years. She spends a lot of her time getting ready for our events, setting up and taking down registration tables, and recruiting new members to help volunteer. Emilie created our chapter-specific new volunteer orientation sessions, which she hosts twice a year. She has been a valuable leader for WIB-RTP."
