WIB-Seattle: Bellevue Happy Hour, May 30, 2024

On May 30, 2024, the vibrant atmosphere of Tavern Hall in Bellevue played host to the inaugural event of WIB-Seattle's new Neighborhood Happy Hour series. This exciting new initiative aims to bring informal networking opportunities to areas outside our usual downtown Seattle and South Lake Union event locations.

Twenty-five women from across the east side, including Bothell, Sammamish, and Issaquah, arrived to engage in casual conversations, setting a relaxed and welcoming tone. The informal setting allowed genuine connections, with women sharing professional experiences and building valuable networks. One of the event's highlights was the ease of access for attendees. Many expressed relief at not having to navigate the often challenging commute into downtown Seattle and were excited about future events in similar locations.

WIB-Seattle plans to regularly host happy hours in various neighborhoods throughout the Greater Seattle Area. Bellevue, in particular, will remain a focal point due to its popularity as a place to live and work. By rotating locations, we aim to best serve our members across different regions, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to connect and network in a convenient and enjoyable setting.

Stay tuned for updates on our next Neighborhood Happy Hour event – we look forward to seeing you there!
