Portal Innovations’ beautiful lab and office space in Southline, Boston—dedicated to supporting the growth of biotech and medtech startups and featuring a stunning open central floor ideal for networking—set the perfect scene on December 10, when Portal Innovations hosted the WIB-Greater Boston Holiday Party. The festive evening brought together more than 140 attendees from across the life sciences community to celebrate the close of the year. The night began with a new member mixer held about 30 minutes before the event, giving newer members a chance to connect in a more relaxed, intimate setting. The official program kicked off with brief welcome remarks from Krisha Panchalingam, Executive Director of Portal Innovations, and Toni Dupell, Chair of WIB-Greater Boston.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed plenty of festive touches, including a holiday ornament engraving station where attendees could create a personalized keepsake, and a roaming photo booth that snapped photos on the spot and delivered instant prints or digital uploads. With delicious food and drinks flowing all night, the event created a warm, celebratory atmosphere—perfect for reconnecting with familiar faces and building new connections across the life sciences community.
