WIB-Connecticut: Annual Ladies Golf Event (All Levels)

The Women in Bio Connecticut chapter recently hosted its Annual Ladies Golf Event at Lyman’s Golf Center & Club, bringing together members and guests for a day of learning, networking, and fun. The event kicked off with a golf clinic led by LPGA/PGA instructors, where participants of all skill levels honed their techniques, focusing on grip, stance, swing, and putting.

Following the clinic, attendees enjoyed a friendly 9-hole shotgun, pairing experienced players with beginners to foster camaraderie and skill-sharing. The day culminated in a delightful banquet featuring a festive fall menu, complete with chowders, drinks, and a crowd-favorite apple crisp.

Participants also had the chance to win exciting raffle prizes, including a spa gift card, WIB membership and swag, a round of golf for four, and a generous month of complimentary mentorship from Anna. With beautiful fall weather and a great turnout, the event proved to be a wonderful opportunity for networking and building connections across the chapter and beyond.
