MAPS-Chicago: Mentoring Circle Program Kick-off, April 25, 2024

The 2024 Mentoring Circles kicked off on April 25, 2024, with a virtual meeting to welcome mentees and mentors. Program participants had the chance to break into their circles and meet their mentors and their fellow mentees. Laurie Wessels, who started the MAPS program in Chicago, gave an overview of how the program works and emphasized that it is mentee-driven. Mentees set goals and work towards a plan that is reviewed consistently with their mentors. This year's group has the most mentees in our history, with 41 mentees and 11 circles. Members of each circle meet monthly for six months.
