• Navigate AI-Era Resume Writing: Understand how both people and applicant tracking systems evaluate resumes and apply targeted strategies to ensure your resume is compelling to both audiences. Learn what critical information is needed beyond skills and accomplishments.
• Leverage AI Effectively: Use AI tools responsibly and ethically to help strengthen your resume without losing the authentic voice that makes you stand out.
• Negotiate with Confidence: Develop a research- and evidence-based approach to salary negotiation, practice real-world scenarios with peers, and build the language and mindset to advocate for the compensation you've earned.

Speaker Bio

Heidi Scott Giusto, PhD, Owner of Career Path Writing Solutions

Heidi is a career strategist, communications consultant, and leader at the intersection of career services and artificial intelligence. As the founder of Career Path Writing Solutions, a consulting firm dedicated to helping people communicate when it matters most, Heidi has spent the past 13 years helping job seekers land meaningful roles—work that has taken on new urgency in an era of AI-disrupted hiring. Heidi works with professionals across industries, including pharma, biotech, medical devices, ag sciences, tech, engineering, and academia. She actively learns and teaches the opportunities and ethical considerations of generative AI in the job search, equipping professionals with the critical thinking and strategy to stay competitive in a rapidly shifting market. A former graduate-level instructor at NC State University’s Poole College of Management, Heidi has led more than 200 workshops and webinars for universities, corporations, and professional associations. Heidi earned her PhD in history from Duke University and holds new credentials in AI for career coaching along with long-standing certifications in resume writing, interview preparation, LinkedIn optimization, and empowerment coaching. She co-authored The Third Paradigm: A Radical Shift to Greater Success (Entrepreneur Press) with BNI founder Dr. Ivan Misner and Dawa Tarchin Phillips.
