We begin our week at BIO 2026 focusing on inspiration not just as a “nice to have,” but as an essential tool for leading teams through the extreme pressures of our industry. Our executive breakfast kicks off with Danielle Baldwin, executive coach and author of Sparking Greatness, who will challenge us to rethink inspiration as a deliberate act, not just something we wait for to strike. Following her remarks, Danielle will moderate our panel of seasoned executives who will translate these insights into real-world applications. Drawing on experience across research, commercial, regulatory, and operations, the discussion will focus on how to:

Sabrina Martucci Johnson, President & CEO of Daré Bioscience
Sabrina is one of the most determined voices in women’s health, and one of the few willing to bet her career on it. In 2015, when venture capital had largely abandoned women’s health, Sabrina founded Daré Bioscience (NASDAQ: DARE), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company built on a single, uncompromising premise: women deserve better. Not incrementally better. Categorically better. From contraception and menopause to vaginal health, sexual health, fertility, and infectious disease, Daré is closing the gaps that a generations-long underinvestment in women’s biology left behind. Under her leadership, Daré has built a capital-efficient pipeline powered by rigorous science, landmark non-dilutive funding — including grants from the Gates Foundation, ARPA-H, and NIH — and a dual-path commercialization strategy designed to get innovations to women faster. The company is now at an inflection point: multiple products launching in 2026, and multiple first-in-category product candidates in development. Sabrina brings rare range to this mission. She began her career as a research scientist at Baxter Healthcare working on the recombinant factor VIII program, then built operational and financial expertise across Advanced Tissue Sciences, Cypress Bioscience (NASDAQ: CYPB), the California Institute for Biomedical Research, and WomanCare Global — a global women’s health products company she led as President. That combination of bench science, finance, and commercial execution informs how she builds: with rigor, urgency, and zero tolerance for the status quo.
