Nimi Vashi, Co-Founder and CEO of Stealth Mode Biotech
Nimi is the co-founder and CEO of a stealth biotech company in the San Francisco Bay Area, building a fundamentally new approach to biomanufacturing. Before founding her current company, Nimi was part of the founding teams at two early-stage Bay Area biotech startups, where she helped build scientific programs, teams, and platforms from the ground up. Her work has spanned first-in-class therapeutic development and leading programs in oncology target discovery across both the science and the realities of building companies from zero to one. Nimi began her career in academic research, completing her PhD in cellular immunology at ICGEB in New Delhi, India, followed by postdoctoral research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Today, she sits at the intersection of frontier science and company building. Her career across academia, translational medicine, early-stage biotech, and entrepreneurship has given her a firsthand perspective on turning ambitious scientific ideas into companies and making the leap from scientist to founder and CEO.
