Speaker Bio
Rachel B. Simon, Author and Executive Coach
Rachel is a retired senior leader from AT&T, one of the world’s most prominent and recognizable brands. Over the course of her 30+year career, she held influential roles across privacy, finance, and customer care, earning a reputation as a trusted leader and culture champion. Frequently tapped to lead in times of transformation, Rachel directed large-scale teams of thousands, managed multi-billion-dollar revenue and expense portfolios, and spearheaded the rollout of strategic policies in fast-evolving areas of the business. As a popular speaker, Rachel brings to life the importance of meaningful relationships and the power of networking for increased professional and personal satisfaction. A consistent theme of her career has been mentoring, employee engagement, and inclusion, and she has helped thousands of professionals expand their limiting beliefs around fulfillment, balance, and success in the workplace. Rachel is the co-founder of the Employee Group, the AT&T Women of Finance, whose mission is to provide networking, education, and mentoring opportunities. She is also the founder of DINE, an initiative to encourage dialogue within small groups across various backgrounds and perspectives. She is the winner of Compliance Week’s Mentor of the Year and is a three-time winner of the Spark Bridgebuilder Award for outstanding inclusion contributions. She is the bestselling author of Relationships at Work: How to Authentically Network within Your Company. Rachel serves on the steering committee for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Women of Tocqueville, where she is especially passionate about initiatives for education and equity. In addition to her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, she holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, accreditation from the International Coaching Federation, and several privacy certifications, including the designation as a Fellow of Information Privacy through the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Rachel lives in Dallas with her husband, Jason, and is the proud mom to her two children, Abigail and Ethan.
