MAPS-Capital Region: The "Living SOP" – Improving Performance in Life Sciences Through Smarter Process Knowledge
Consider the SOP in its current format: a static, text-heavy document—possibly with a picture or graphic if you’re lucky—that leaves ample room for interpretation. Today, numerous generative AI platforms use large language models (LLMs) to rapidly produce SOPs, yet by and large, these produce more of the same, only faster.
In this interactive webinar, we’ll explore the concept of the “Living SOP”: a modernized approach to apprentice-style teaching methods that uses human-centered design and technology to remove common obstacles and rapidly scale gold-standard ways of doing. Grace Choi, founder of Larabee, and Sarah Boynton, WIB-Capital Region MAPS Chair, will lead a presentation and discussion on why this evolution is critical for life science organizations, especially in operations and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and how it can transform onboarding, reduce error rates, and accelerate adoption of new processes. You’ll leave with fresh ideas on how to bring SOPs to life, and through their ripple effects, drive operational excellence and catalyze individual and organizational performance.
