Rebecca Bradford, Senior Vice President at ATCC Federal Solutions
In her role as Senior Vice President of ATCC Federal Solutions (AFS), Rebecca is responsible for the overall strategy, management, and growth of AFS programs, including products and services for chronic and emerging infectious diseases, medical countermeasures, and global health security. Rebecca is an established leader and expert in chronic and infectious diseases, public health-related product development, and biomanufacturing. Since joining ATCC in 2004 as a biologist, Rebecca has moved through the ranks of project and program management. She is essential to the business growth and expansion of AFS programs. Rebecca and her team of program managers and scientists played a critical role in accelerating the development of countermeasures during multiple global public health emergencies, including the ongoing fight against Malaria, the 2009 H1N1 Influenza pandemic, the 2015-16 Zika epidemic, and COVID-19 pandemic. Rebecca’s team provides vital expertise and biological products for biomanufacturing, regenerative medicine, and chronic diseases.
Elizabeth Good Mazhari, Investment & Ecosystem Engagement Officer at TEDCO
Elizabeth brings more than 25 years of academic, government, and private sector experience in product development, technology commercialization, and venture management to TEDCO. Prior to joining TEDCO, she served as President of Transition Health Ventures, a consulting firm specializing in serving the needs of the innovation community and the healthcare and life science startup companies within it. Elizabeth also spent more than eight years in academic venturing roles at JHU and UMB. Additionally, Elizabeth previously served as Managing Director of the MVF (2004-2006) in addition to progressively senior roles with the Fund between 2000 and 2004. She started her career in San Diego in venture-backed medtech startups in product development roles after completing her master's in bioengineering from UC San Diego and BSE from Duke University in biomedical and electrical engineering.
