San Diego Opera invites life science professionals to Life Science Night at the Opera! The evening includes a networking reception at the beautiful Westgate Hotel, followed by our stunning production of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly!

Gather with other life sciences professionals over wine and hors d’oeuvres and hear a brief talk about the connection between music and the mind by Dr. Jacopo Annese, PhD, President and CEO of The Brain Observatory.

After the reception, attend a thrilling performance of Madama Butterfly, one of the most beloved and beautiful operas of all time. A passionate, haunting tale about what happens when two cultures collide, Madama Butterfly features some of the greatest musical moments from Puccini’s long career. At intermission, the conversation continues over champagne and dessert.
