Tina Albershardt, PhD, Vice President of R&D at Moonlight Bio
Tina Albershardt is an executive and founding member of Moonlight Bio. She is highly passionate about building operationally efficient companies and defining sustainable pathways to integrate discovery and innovation into drug development pipelines.
Namita Hattangady, Scientist at Immunome, Inc.
Namita Hattangady is a tumor biologist and Scientist at Immunome, Inc., where she works on the Cell Biology team, designing and developing antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Before joining Immunome in mid-2024, Namita was a Ruth Kirschstein Postdoctoral Fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in the Translational Sciences and Therapeutics Division. There, she utilized in vitro and ex vivo analyses alongside multi-omic techniques to investigate how the senescent stromal microenvironment influences colorectal cancer development and progression. She earned her PhD in biomedical sciences from Augusta University in 2014 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan (2015–2019) as an American Heart Association fellow, where she identified and characterized novel gene variants contributing to endocrine diseases. Beyond her research, Namita is passionate about mentoring and advocating for women in STEM. She has been actively involved with WIB-Seattle since 2020, serving in leadership roles, including Treasurer and Communications Chair. She continues to support the Communications team as a volunteer. In her free time, Namita enjoys hiking, swimming, singing, experimenting with cooking, and spending time with her family.
Berry (Beryl) Hatton, PhD, Senior Principal Clinical Scientist at Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc.
Berry Hatton is a Principal Senior Clinical Scientist at Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc., a biomedical platform company leveraging Pulsed Electric Field technologies to target disease-related cells. In this role, she supports Clinical Science efforts across the Oncology and Chronic Bronchitis business units. She holds a PhD in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Washington/Fred Hutch Cancer Center, where her research focused on developing genetically engineered mouse models of brain cancer to advance therapeutic development in collaboration with pharmaceutical partners. Previously, she served as Director at Presage Biosciences, overseeing the company’s Comparative In Vivo Oncology (CIVO) platform, an innovative precision oncology approach for evaluating investigational therapies directly within patient tumors. Passionate about harnessing science and technology for impactful healthcare solutions, she also advocates for greater collaboration in research and confidence-building initiatives, particularly for women in science.
Kaitlyn LaCourse, NanoU Content and Program Manager at Bruker Spatial Biology
Kaitlyn LaCourse is a microbiologist with a passion for science communication and education. She earned her BS in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and a PhD in microbiology from the University of Washington, where she studied Type VI secretion system toxins. She then pursued postdoctoral research at Fred Hutch, investigating the role of Fusobacterium nucleatum and intratumoral microbiota in colorectal cancer. Transitioning from research to industry, she spent 2.5 years as a Field Applications Scientist at NanoString Technologies before taking on her current role as the Manager and Content Creator for NanoString University, an educational training platform. Outside of work, she enjoys birding, video games, and swing dancing.
Lindsay Pino, Co-Founder and CTO at Talus Bio
Lindsay is the co-founder and chief technology officer at Talus Bio. With over a decade’s experience in analytical chemistry and computational biology, she develops technologies for quantitative proteomics. At Talus, she is working on the challenges associated with scaling up quantitative proteomics experiments. When not working, she enjoys bringing her son to the zoo, reading on her Kindle with a cup of coffee, and running 5ks around Seattle’s parks.
