Speaker Bios
Molly Levinson, Director of Business Ops, Business Development at Natera
Molly is an experienced sales operations and product support manager located in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has 15 years of business experience with a multidisciplinary background in project management, sales support, customer service support, cost reduction projects, and phlebotomy operations. Now the current Co-Chair of the Women of Natera, Molly has designed and launched WoN’s Professional Development Program, WoN's annual charity 5k in collaboration with the non-profit organization, “New Mother” stations around the office to allow for a smoother transition for new mothers returning to work as well as establishing additional benefits to assist employees who want to start families, have a newborn, or who are entering menopause (e.g., Maven).
Bismay Mishra, Director of HIV Global Commercial Strategy & Operations at Gilead Sciences
With over 16 years of experience in the biopharma and healthcare industry, Bismay Mishra is leading work to generate strategic insights and drive commercial strategy in the HIV space. He leverages his background in qualitative market research, long-term forecasting, and data analysis to identify and address the unmet needs and challenges of people living with HIV, people who would benefit from PrEP and the healthcare providers who serve them. As a passionate leader and advocate for belonging, inclusion, and diversity, he has globally co-led the Pride Alliance, one of the employee resource groups (ERGs) at Gilead, focusing on professional development, engagement, and empowerment of LGBTQ+ employees and allies. He also actively participates in other ERGs, such as GAIN, GVets, GLOBE, and Women @ Gilead, to promote a culture of respect, belonging, and innovation at Gilead. His mission is to use his expertise to drive positive change and outcomes for people, patients, providers, and communities around the world.
Kristine Singh, Creator and Founder of BrownGurlFlow, Moderator
Kristine Singh is an Indo-Fijian trailblazer in the field of Counseling Psychology, currently completing her final semester at the University of San Francisco. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee and a first-generation scholar representing San Jose and Stockton, CA, she brings a distinctive perspective to her work. With a strong commitment to mental health, women's empowerment, and dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Kristine has spearheaded BrownGurlFlow, a community empowering women of color to lead intentional lives while also serving as a Life Coach to guide and support their journey. Leveraging her background in higher education and technology, Kristine's journey embodies resilience and advocacy.
Carolyn Wang, Sr. Vice President of Global Corporate Communications at Ultragenyx
Carolyn Wang has over 25 years of experience in strategic healthcare communications. She is SVP of global corporate communications at Ultragenyx, a company focused on developing first-ever treatments and transforming the lives of people living with rare and ultra rare genetic diseases. Carolyn also serves as a volunteer board member with the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health. Previously, Carolyn was the head of communications at Verily, an Alphabet company focused on precision health. Prior to Verily, Carolyn held multiple roles at RealChemistry where she focused on integrated marketing communications and strategic positioning for emerging brands in the healthcare, health technology, and life sciences industries and played a vital role in the agency's substantial growth.
Susan Whitehead, Principal & Founder of BioSavvy Advisors
Empowering change is a dominant theme throughout Susan’s 20+ years as a leader in the biopharma industry. Recognized for her goal-oriented approach and commitment to inclusion, Susan earned recognition as one of the top LGBTQ+ BioPharma Leaders in 2023 (EndPoints News). Known for swiftly translating complex strategies into actionable steps, Susan founded BioSavvy Advisors. Prior to this role, she served as president and chief operating officer at PACT Pharma. Passionate about improving healthcare equity as well as creating an equitable workplace, Susan leads with intention while inspiring others. Currently, she serves as board chair and vice president of Bay Area Young Survivors (BAYS), and invests in real estate, women's health, femtech, and oncology. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Michigan State University.
