Speaker Bio
Lee Asplund is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in bioprocess, instrumentation, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), digitalization, and data management. Her career highlights include delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. With a background of collaborating with industry leaders like ThermoMicroscopes, Biotage, MMR Technologies, the Hamilton Company, and MilliporeSigma, Lee excels in bioprocess optimization, advanced instrumentation, PAT applications, and data management strategies. Her tailored approach meets diverse client needs, from research and development to advanced surface science. Lee is currently the Digital Marketing Manager at Pharmaron and serves as a Strategic Marketing and Growth Consultant for small biopharma, compliance, and sustainability businesses and startups. She served as the San Francisco Women In Bio Chapter Chair and led the Programming Committee from 2020 through the end of 2024, empowering women through mentorship and community development.
