EWIB-Metro New York: Women’s Health – A Moral Imperative & an Undeniable Growth Opportunity
Despite representing more than half the population, women’s health has historically been sidelined, understudied, underfunded, and underserved. But this is changing. At the 43rd Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in January 2025, women's health emerged as a central theme, underscoring its growing importance in the healthcare investment landscape. A significant highlight was the release of the 2025 Women’s Health Access Matters Investment Report, developed in collaboration with KPMG. This report presents a compelling business case for investing in women's health, emphasizing both economic returns and societal benefits. Join us as we delve deeper into the insights from the WHAM Report and explore this colossal opportunity with two leaders at the forefront of this transformation: Sanj Singh, CEO of Temple Therapeutics, is building one of the most globally recognized pipelines in women’s health, with a track record of clinical advancement and strategic innovation. Rachel Butler, President of the Catalytic Impact Foundation, is driving catalytic capital into historically neglected areas—including women’s health—to accelerate innovation where it's needed most. Together, they’ll share insights on why now is the time to double down on women’s health—and how science, capital, and purpose are aligning to change the landscape.
