EWIB-Connecticut: Executive Networking & Motivational Workshop
Please join us for our spring networking event at Elm City Social in New Haven. Gather with Connecticut executive women leaders and special guest Amy Fenollosa, who has more than 20 years of experience in executive education. Amy will lead the group in an icebreaker exercise focused on driving your own development.
Icebreaker Description
As leaders, we’re so focused on growing and mentoring our teams that we can neglect our own personal and professional development. During our icebreaker, we’ll spend time reflecting on what motivates us and how to align our motivational drivers with our professional development. It’s a fun, interactive way to learn about ourselves and one another and inspire continued growth. Practical tools will also be available for you to share with your teams.

Speaker Bio
Amy is a senior faculty member and instructional designer at HAVEN. With more than 20 years of experience in executive education, her passion is helping leaders achieve their full potential through self-reflection and experiential learning. Her positive and direct style helps individuals transform their leadership through classroom theory and practical application. Amy’s career has focused on adult education and corporate learning. Prior to HAVEN, Amy was a senior facilitator and instructional designer with The Monitor Group, Tandem Solutions, and the Latimer Group. For more than 20 years, she has worked closely with Fortune 500 clients to help them hone their leadership and communication skills. She has taught hundreds of leadership workshops and including effective communications, emotional intelligence, effective teams, leading through change. executive communications, presentation skills, leadership presence, and storytelling. As a communications expert, she specializes in helping people refine and simplify a message, deliver it authentically and confidently, and improve their communication to achieve their goals. As a public speaking coach, she helps leaders overcome nerves and boost confidence to prepare keynotes, media interviews, and board presentations. She provides transferrable skills to ready leaders for all types of presentations, demystifying the process and de-risking the speaking experience. Amy holds a BA in English and film from Denison University and a master's in education from Harvard. Her publications include Speaking Up: How Patient and Physician Voices Shaped a Trial to Improve Goals-of-Care Discussions and Relevance and Rigor: Executive Education as a Lever in Shaping Practice and Research. Amy devotes her free time to raising two boys and to supporting a non-profit she founded to support families coping with cancer.
