Speakers

Laura Ekas, Head of Corporate Strategy and New Product Planning at Rallybio

Laura has more than 14 years of experience in the biotech industry. Her broad background includes experience in global pricing and reimbursement, corporate operations, and investor relations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Alexion, Laura was a Consultant at Insight Strategy Advisors, a healthcare strategy consulting firm, where she focused on patient access, pricing, and supply chain strategies. Before this, she held positions of increasing responsibility at Canaccord Genuity Group, including Vice President of Biotech Equity Research. She earned a BA in behavioral biology from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in pharmacology and signal transduction from the New York University School of Medicine.

Kevin Palisi, Managing Director at Ancora Search

Kevin Palisi is Founder and Managing Director of Ancora Search, a retained executive search firm focused on the recruitment of senior executives and physician leaders in life sciences,  healthcare services, and related industries. Before Ancora, Mr. Palisi served as a Principal in Korn Ferry’s Stamford office and was a Global Healthcare Services Practice member. Previously, he served as Director of Talent Acquisition for Magellan Health, a national specialty health services company with businesses in Behavioral Health Management, Pharmacy Benefit Management, Radiology Benefit Management, and integrated Health Insurance Plans. Mr. Palisi led physician and clinical leadership recruitment across all divisions and oversaw key executive searches.
