EWIB-Capital Region Virtual Workshop Series: Personal Branding for Board Candidates (Session 5)
Ms. Kelly Huang will lead a series of five workshops on developing personal branding in preparation for serving on Boards. Following the five-step “Personal Branding Wheel,” participants will take a values-driven approach to develop their personal brands and hold themselves accountable. As the former Co-Chair of Women In Bio’s Boardroom Ready program, Ms. Huang can help answer any questions for those interested in the program or those who are considering how to start their Board journey.
There will be five virtual sessions, with each session consisting of a group session followed by breakout sessions:

Speaker Bio
Kelly C. Huang, Board Diversity Advocate and Executive Coach
Ms. Kelly Huang is an executive leadership coach with over 20 years of experience in teaching, B2B marketing, and management consulting. She started her Board journey back in 2006 when she joined a four-person mutual fund Board, and she is currently serving on the Scientific Advisory Board for Eagle Genomics in the UK. In terms of her experience with Women In Bio, Kelly has combined her first-hand Board governance along with her leadership coaching experience in serving as the Co-Chair for Women In Bio's Boardroom Ready program in 2019. While she continues to advocate for gender equity and boardroom diversity, she is active in contributing to the Forbes Coaching Council and teaching at UCSD.
