Join Rebecca Bova, Senior Scientist on MilliporeSigma's Global Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Team, to learn how NGS is used in biosafety testing and how it fits into a safety testing program. With recent updates to regulatory documents such as ICHQ5A and the new European Pharmacopoeia chapter 2.6.41, Next Generation Sequencing is a technology that is moving to the forefront of biosafety testing in the pharmaceutical industry.
This webinar will focus on the different applications of NGS for various vaccine products.

Speaker Bio
Rebecca Bova, PhD, Senior Scientist at MilliporeSigma
Rebecca is currently a senior scientist at MilliporeSigma. She received her BS in immunology and infectious disease from Penn State University and then went on to receive her PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Connecticut. Rebecca then went on to complete her postdoc at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, focusing on infectious E. coli and creating an in silico intestinal model. After that she joined MilliporeSigma in 2021, specifically she works in the Next Generation Sequencing Department and is now the head of the Custom NGS Assay Team which focuses on regulatory updates as well as technology transfers from R&D.
