Speaker Bio
Fehmida Kapadia, PhD, Founder & President at Kapamed Consulting
Dr. Kapadia brings two decades of life-sciences leadership to her role as a biotech entrepreneur coach. After earning her PhD in biochemistry and a master’s in biotechnology entrepreneurship, she launched Kapamed Consulting in 2013 to guide inventors and startups through product development, go-to-market strategy, and fundraising. As Entrepreneur in Residence at bwtech@UMBC and an adjunct instructor at Case Western Reserve University, Fehmida helps translate cutting-edge research into viable businesses. A former Fulbright scholar and mentor for programs like Jumpstart’s Burton D. Morgan Mentorship and NSF’s I-Corps, she excels at connecting founders with the right university labs, investors, and accelerator programs. Fehmida is passionate about demystifying entrepreneurship, empowering scientists to turn breakthroughs into sustainable ventures.
