Speaker Bio

Ruzanna Queenan, CFA, Founder & President of Queenvest

Ruzanna is the Founder and President of Queenvest, a financial life management company that focuses on successful women who have big dreams and work hard to have the life that they want. Queenvest handles clients’ cash flow, investment, tax, insurance, and estate planning needs, coordinates a team of experts, and follows up until they follow through on their income, wealth, and legacy goals. Ruzanna started her career as the youngest employee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after her native country of Armenia became independent from the Soviet Union, and she also worked at the International Monetary Fund and the United Nations as an interpreter. She moved to the States with her husband, who was a Peace Corps volunteer in the war-ravaged Armenia in 1997. Ruzanna spent the next 20 years working at some of the most successful firms in the financial industry and has gained expertise in investing, consulting, financial analysis, and data science. Her career included leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, Sapient, and Affiliated Managers Group. Ruzanna was a Vice President at the State Street Bank when she decided to leave corporate America and start her own business. Ruzanna has a master’s degree in languages, an MBA from Babson College, and obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2007. Ruzanna lives in Beverly, MA, with her husband and two teenage children. She is an avid reader and a fierce tennis competitor. Ruzannaserves on the Board of the Rocky Neck Art Colony and as an Advisor for the World Leadership Fellowship at How Women Lead.
